What does MILF mean in porn? Most of the people dons’t know what it mean. MILF is an acronym that stands for “Mom I’d Like to Fuck.” (Because the sexist assumption is that most mothers are unfuckable, right? Yeah, cool.) Traditionally, the term was used by teenage boys referring to their friends’ hot moms, but it has grown to encompass anyone talking about a sexually attractive mom or older woman. The concept is a global one; in the U.K., the equivalent is a “yummy mummy.” However, MILFs shouldn’t be confused with cougars, a (sexist) term for an older woman who “preys” on younger men and is seen as aggressive.
In a 2014 article, Playboy theorized that men like MILFs because they symbolize a woman who is sexually confident and therefore good in bed. Considering our completely sexist and ageist society where a woman over 40 is considered invisible, this theory isn’t much of a consolation prize.
Porn quickly jumped on the MILF train, and according to 2015 Pornhub stats, “MILF” was the fifth most-searched term and “mom” was the sixth most-searched. Apparently, there are a lot of mama’s boys out there. Kelly Madison, a porn performer, producer and director, notes that performers as young as 25 are cast as MILFs in porn scenes. “Porn lacks a better term for a sophisticated woman. You’re either a teen or a MILF,” she says.
